⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had such a wonderful stay at KAN Hotel in Tulum! A big thank you to all the staff working there, especially the receptionists and the bar team — they are amazing, positive people who truly care about their guests. They always made sure I was comfortable and helped with anything I needed, always with a smile. Their kindness made my experience even more special. A special thank you to Milagros , jose and Julian at the bar and restaurant, who took our orders and booked an amazing table for us on Valentine’s night. She was so kind, attentive, and made the evening truly memorable. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an amazing and relaxing experience in Tulum.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but Kan Tulum was truly outstanding and absolutely deserves one. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect embodiment of wellness and nature. The cenote is breathtaking, the coffee bar is excellent, and the restaurant was spectacular — every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. We originally planned to stay for just three days, but ended up extending our stay to two full weeks because we simply didn’t want to leave. It’s one of those rare places that makes you slow down, feel grounded, and completely at peace. If you’re looking for a place that combines natural beauty, comfort, and an authentic wellness experience, Kan Tulum is something special. Highly recommended.

Overall, the team and the people were extremely nice and helpful. The showers/bathroom were... Pooly designed. It's either rain shower or tub and as a girl, you don't always want to just sit in a tub (which doesn't get hot even when the water gets hot) or have your hair wet. Lol and it splashes everywhere. But the team is so so so amazing, they basically saved our experience. Mau, Sergio and Ana were all very accommodating. Sergio and Mau both gave very good recommendations. And so attentive. If you book services though, they may or may not come on time (which isn't the concierge teams fault). But good to keep in mind to reconfirm. Definitely bring bug spray. There're plenty of mosquitoes, but that's pretty typical for the area. The cenote is gorgeous! Location is alright, close enough to places but def can't walk since all the surroundings were mainly under construction.

Amazing stay at Kan Tulum, we would definitely come back. We stayed in a room that had a private rooftop terrace/plunge pool which I highly recommend if you like your own quiet space to relax, sunbathe, read, etc. The rooms were very nice and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the little kitchen and fridge! I was a bit worried that there wouldn’t be enough sunny areas as another review said the entire place is very shaded; however we found it was not a problem at all. If you don’t have a private rooftop area, there are still a few that are open to everyone that are in full sun. The restaurant pool seemed very sunny although we didn’t use it. We only used the main pool once in the afternoon and it had enough sunny areas. The cenote is obviously amazing, such a nice serene spot to hang out and cool off. We really enjoyed the café and the menu with many different types of coffees, teas, juices, etc. The woman working there was always super pleasant with us! Minor things that were annoying but not enough to make the stay less than great: some things in the room we couldn’t get to work like the ceiling fan (the remote didn’t seem to work), one of the lamps, the safe (again could have been us not able to figure out how to use it, but we ended up just not using it), and the fact that we couldn’t turn off the very bright outdoor lights right outside our window/door where our bed faces. (There were blinds we could put down but I like falling asleep and waking up to the views). Although they were not super responsive via WhatsApp before we arrived, the service once we got there was good. PSA (unrelated to Kan, but very helpful to know if you’re renting a car/scooter) please read the reviews of the gas stations before going to one and PAY ATTENTION to the meter. Especially the gas station closest to Kan.

The KAN hotel in Tulum is the only place I’ve ever stayed where I booked my return visit within the first 24 hours of being there. There’s something about KAN that’s difficult to explain until you feel it yourself. The energy is palpable. The moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by the jungle, not in a way that feels wild or overwhelming, but intentional. The design of the property works with nature instead of competing with it. Every structure, every pathway, every space feels like it belongs there. You’re constantly reminded where you are: in the middle of something alive. The rooms are incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed, complete with a mini fridge, AC, stovetop, balcony. I was working remotely during my stay and it worked perfectly. The hotel is quiet, the wifi was always reliable and fast, and there are plenty of peaceful places around the property to work if you want a change of scenery. KAN's amenities really blew me away. There are several pools are tucked into different areas so it never feels crowded, and the cenote on site is something special, with a peaceful seating area that you could spend hours at. There is a studio on site that offers pilates, yoga, breath work and more. The restaurant, Mot Mot, deserves its own mention. It’s quickly becoming a staple in Tulum, and after eating there you’ll understand why. Everything on the menu is exceptional. They also have Mot Mot Café on site, which quickly became my daily coffee stop. But what truly made the stay memorable was the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the team at Mot Mot to management — was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. There’s a warmth here that makes the whole place feel less like a hotel and more like a community. KAN is also perfectly located near La Veleta (about a 10–20 minute walk), where you’ll find great coffee shops, restaurants, and juice spots. If you rent a bike or scooter, getting to the beach is easy. I highly recommend KAN to anyone looking for a restorative experience.

My stay at KAN Hotel in Tulum was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to the incredible receptionists, Sergio and Mauricio. Sergio and Mauricio are truly amazing people with such positive energy. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and at home. They always made sure I was comfortable with everything and were ready to help with anything I needed — whether it was recommendations, arrangements, or just making sure my stay was perfect. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care really stood out and made the experience extra special. The level of service at this hotel is exceptional, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about their guests. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have an amazing experience in Tulum. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place with outstanding hospitality, this is it. And a special thank you to the owner, Sam — thank you for creating such a peaceful and amazing place. Your vision truly shows in every detail of the hotel. I can’t wait to come back!

We had our wedding at the Kan and stayed for a couple nights; it was perfection. The scenery and detailed work around the hotel was serene. We have been working with the wedding planner Vanessa for months to get ready for the day. She was knowledgeable, responsive, understanding, and really kind. They day of I worked with planner Mariana, and between her and my photographer who needs a bridal party-- totally kidding but they were so great and made they day comfortable. They made my wedding day peaceful, I did not feel rushed. During our stay the food I thought was aesthetically beautiful as well as tasty. I took a yoga class there and it ended up being one-on-one on the balcony for sunrise. We stayed in the penthouse, there is a pool above the room that you can hear from the bedroom, this made for such a calm ambient sound to fall asleep to. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. We will be back and recommend it if you want a quiet rejuvenating getaway.

Absolutely stunning place. Staff are very kind and polite, waiters always have positive attitude and are ready to help. Food was very good, cocktails too. Room was very beautiful and beds super comfortable. Swimming pool was cold but we enjoyed swimming in the cenote so we had no problem about that. 10/10
